Bremont's Technology
B-EBE2000 Watch Case Treatment
All Bremont cases are treated for hardness
with the B-EBE2000 technology, which gives the steel a dramatically
increased hardness and scratch resistance, with a Vickers scale of
hardness value of 2000, approximately 9 times harder than the normal
stainless steel used for watch cases.
Bremont Sapphire Watch Crystals
Anti-reflective coatings are applied to
each side of the glass. Vapor deposition in a vacuum environment assures
that the coating reaches a Vickers scale of hardness rating of 2000,
making it extremely wear resistant.
Bremont Roto-clickŪ
Certain models such as the Bremont MB
series incorporate a special bezel arrangement in which the bezel
rotates on a series of four ball bearings. As a result the bezel gives a
very satisfying click as it it moved from one minute marker to the next.
Bremont Anti-Shock
A unique rubberized movement mount is
incorporated in the MB range of watches, and others, such that the
movement is isolated from the case by a flexible ring, absorbing much of
the shock energy that the watch may encounter.
Anti-Magnetic Soft Iron Inner Case
Certain Bremont models are equipped with a
soft iron Faraday cage protecting the movement from the effects of
harmful magnetic fields, which are routed around the movement.
