Founded in 2005, Bathys Hawaii Watch Co. reflects the
vision of its founder John Patterson:
"Hawai'i is a land where the raw power and beauty of Nature is directly
available to everyone. The strength of the ocean and the newness of the earth
here mean that one must be at all times aware and respectful of the forces of
nature - otherwise you can get hurt - or worse. This is a place where mistakes
can have consequences. My watches are designed to work regardless of the amount
of abuse they have to take. Here in Hawai'i you might be at 13,000 feet up Mauna
Kea one day and 100 feet underwater the next. There's not many places on Earth
where such extremes are a routine part of life."
