to Showcase BALL Watch Company Collection
You are invited to a wine & cheese reception to
be held at the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore
on the evening of May
15, 2008.
The Museum will be introducing the first and only
presentation of the Ball Watch Company Museum Tour
in Baltimore from 6
to 8pm.
The evening will feature:
· A display of historic Ball watches, including
watches from the personal collection of founder Webb
C. Ball, plus some exemplary examples of the modern
Ball Watch.
· Brief remarks by Mr. Jeffrey P. Hess, President
of Ball Watch Company USA. Mr. Hess, author of many
literary pieces on watches and horology, is also a
professor at St. Petersburg College in Florida.
· Attendees will receive a free copy of the book
"The Railroad Time Keepers" by Shawn M.
Herne. Mr. Herne will be available at the event to
autograph his book.
· Exhibits on timekeeping from the archival and
object collections of the B&O Railroad Museum
and the National Watch and Clock Museum (Columbia,
PA).
Subscription:
$15.00 per person for the general public
$10.00 per person for B&O Railroad Museum
